Drömnu approached me to collaborate on an album cover for his latest EP “Watching darkness”. I created a series of marks & sketches while listening to the individual tracks. Combined they create a composition for the album cover. Below are some initial compositions.
I started playing around with my weeping willow sketchbook drawing. I still want to paint realistic shadows and eliminate all the sketch lines. I like the idea of this image being part of a much bigger canvas. Lets see where it goes…
Creative showcase talk
I shared some work at the CTCA creative showcase mornings held at the Old Biscuit Mill, Woodstock. Casual Society did a nice little write-up and documented the event.
I painted these two side plates for a ceramic group show: CHAMPAGNE for my real friends. They’re still unglazed and I’m nervously hoping they survive the risky glaze-firing process.
